Who We Are

The Gerardo Nigro Memorial Foundation's mission is to support young men and women of Italian American heritage or youth entering the seminary.

What We Do

The Gerardo Nigro Foundation supports young Italian American men and women and young men entering the seminary by giving scholarships, hosting classes, lectures and seminars and supporting efforts of the Catholic church and other organizations.

Since 2005 we have:

• Given scholarships to Italian American high school students;

• Donated funds to East Boston Central Catholic School;

• Sponsored lectures regarding Italian American heritage;

• Donated funds to Hospice of the North Shore (Massachusetts);

• Supported worthy causes of other like minded organizations;

Gerardo Nigro (1935-2005)

We are keeping Gerardo's memory alive by continuing to help those he cared so much about.

He opened his home to help so many people in his life.  He taught us true kindness, faith, and courage.
